Today we are all connected, we are all part of a magnificent but delicate environment, every day I am surprised and amazed at the creation, there is a though, today that we have exceeded 7 billion people, we have reached and widely exceeded the “capacity of load ”of the Planet, social dynamics are more and more global, therefore they are more and more decisive and I have to do my part, as each of us should, I know that the solutions are very complex and that only conscious and shared actions give us the hope of a turnaround. Designed for those who want maximum natural quality, Dr. Aloes supplies fresh Aloe Arborescens leaves to be taken according to individual needs or transformed personally. Through us, you can receive all the energy that Nature generates in Sicily through the aloe that we cultivate with love. If you dream of going to live on a wonderful island but it is not easy, now you can make the wonderful island come to your home whenever you want, the environment will be grateful to you and your body even more.

Currently, I cultivate 14 plants belonging to the Aloe family which in nature has about 360 species, however of all only 5 have beneficial effects certified by the scientific community and therefore have a certain commercial value in general and are:
Aloe Arborescens, Aloe Barbadensis Miller (called Aloe vera), Aloe Chinensis, Aloe Ferox and Aloe Saponaria Maculata, all the others that I cultivate only for passion, in reality, I am an idealistic fanatic of the environment and therefore of biodiversity.
The method is not an easy topic to deal with because it constitutes the greatest corporate value, in the sense that the plants created them by nature and therefore one is worth one, in reality, it is not quite so, the plants are true they are all the same but, it is the method of cultivating them and the environment in which they live that makes the real difference, let’s take an example: Aloe plants are planted every summer in Ukraine in the area of the Chernobyl tragedy to absorb the radiation of the environment, you would like to spread on the skin the gel extracted from those leaves, or would you eat it? Surely not.
So my plants enjoy a unique environment in the world between the Etna volcano, the Simeto river and the Ionian sea, where there is no trace of industries and zero pollution, the nearest inhabited centre is 13 km as the crow flies as if this were not enough I do not use fertilizers, pesticides or chemicals of any kind, all the processes I do are manual and are the result of specific and constant studies, more or less fortunate biological experiments but all tried and tested and tried again and above all a lot of direct experience with plants; plants understand this and give their best by becoming more beautiful and stronger every day, I also hope that these efforts will also reach those who choose to use them in their diet or care.

The plants that I grow today are the result of a ten-year selection among 360 species present in nature, in particular, I love aloe Arborescens because even if it has smaller leaves it concentrates the active ingredients better, on average 25% more than the other species, also it is essential that the plant is adult therefore that it blooms, normally from the 5th year of life onwards, I am 42 of 10 years old from which I get 4 leaves per year and 1500 already cultivated which vary from 1 to 4 years ;

"I chose to farm naturally, so I don't use chemicals, I only use organic fertilizer from animals that I constantly follow"

Often in the market you will find products from plants grown in greenhouses or from crops with large extensions

Both crops have specific important problems:

It is an artificial incubator that allows having a constantly controlled temperature to encourage the growth of plants but requires the use of massive quantities of pesticides and pesticides in a preventive way to avoid a rapid transmission of pathologies. As if to say: it facilitates the growth of plants, but also of harmful agents and above all plants grown in the greenhouse produce 50% less active ingredients (with the same weight) compared to a beautiful plant grown outdoors and under the sun.

Typical of countries with a very permissive regulation, the large extension often coincides with extensive use of herbicides, for a long time said practices have been prohibited in Italian and European crops because they are harmful to the environment and to the health of people and animals. Finally, we must always consider logistics, that is, the distance between the country of production and the country of destination and consumption, it is like trusting already packaged products that can last for years in the warehouse.
